We are very similar. I, too, run a marathon of whatever new hobby I have... and then never again. Also, the photos are so gorgeous. You really downplayed those rocks... especially the ones jutting out of the water.
I recently attempted to golf for the first time, if you count Top Golf, that is. Anyway, it's freaking hard! Frustratingly so.
Wow, where to start? First, let me say that those travel photos is what everyone takes (some better than others). I really like the photo of the lean-to (your alternate dwelling!) I went to art school in photography simultaneous to attending university, and I took travel photos too. It's completely normal. Those rocks WERE beautiful!
You might look at them in a year or two and remember. Or not...but they are there in case you want to. I have learned, however, that photos of people are what speak to me.
Just to prove the universe is a balanced place, let me say: I HATE golf! I had to play at summer camp for eight years and I was best at propelling large clumps of dirt, and not the ball. Plus, growing up in NYC, I associate golf with businessmen doing deals on the green. Big turnoff.
My boring sport is tennis. I suck at it, but totally understand it and appreciate watching it.
And my relationship to social media is increasingly negative, but I don't have to promote myself. I commiserate.
Haha I'm sure I will be very glad I took all those pictures! There will be a night at some point in a few years when I sip on some scotch and look at my pictures and feel all the feels.
Golf is the worst! It's so funny to me that I like it. I used to try to play tennis but I wasn't very good at it... And I refuse to try Pickleball ;-)

Top Golf is basically 'Golf, The Videogame', and I LOVE it.
