The only bio you ever need.

Well, I'm glad it will be a long time before you get to New York City if you aren't in a city mood these days. The only "Wild things" you'll see here are the people! And there are shit-tons of them. Sometimes I feel like going out with a tennis racket and just batting people out of my way! (in 47 years my neighborhood turned from a deserted 16 square blocks of nobody and nothing but derelict Victorian factories (I still live in one, but it's no longer derelict) to tourist and traffic jam central.) Don't come until you're ready. It would be a shame if you just weren't feeling it... BTW: good thing you are quitting 101 at Eureka before the mid California coast--I believe it's shut down at the moment because part of the road fell into the ocean!

I'll definitely be in a NYC state of mind by the spring! And a city with someone to show you around is way different than just parking somewhere and walking around, lol

You'll have many "native guides"! My daughter Lily is a rental agent and she's extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. She also knows the good bars...
